Listen to stories\, sing songs\, repeat rhymes and fingerplays\, and move and groove together! This early literacy program emphasizes the Every Child Ready to Read Practices of read\, write\, sing\, talk\, and play. \n\n\n\nThis program will be held outdoors For all outdoor library programming\, we recommend bringing a blanket or towel to sit on\, sunscreen\, and a water bottle. Whenever possible we will announce weather-based program changes in advance on our social media and text announcements. DESCRIPTION:Is your stuffie ready for a special adventure? It’s time for a stuffed animal sleepover – the stuffies of Marion and beyond are invited to spend the night at the Library and go on a special adventure with Miss Macy. \n\n\n\nDrop your stuffed animal off before 5 PM on Tuesday\, August 11 and pick them up after 2 PM on Wednesday\, August 12. You’ll receive an email from your stuffie before they go to bed\, and a special surprise from them when you come pick them up. Additionally\, you’ll get access to a story and photographs from your stuffed animal’s time at the Library. \n\n\n\nThis program is for kids of all ages!

DESCRIPTION:Please note this program is held at 10 AM. This is a time change from our school-year storytime schedule. \n\n\n\nBabies ages birth to 24 months and their caregivers are invited to join us for lapsit storytime! This program is full of rhymes\, bounces\, and songs and is intended for children to sit in their caregiver’s lap. The content repeats each week and focuses on developing the use of the five Every Child Ready to Read early literacy practices: read\, write\, sing\, talk\, and play. Registration is not required for this program. \n\n\n\nThis program will be held outdoors unless there is inclement weather or a heat emergency\, in which cases the program will be held in the . For all outdoor library programming\, we recommend bringing a blanket or towel to sit on\, sunscreen\, and a water bottle.
