Program attendees will be informed in advance if this will be the case so they can plan accordingly. A detailed calendar of program topics will be available before the first program. \n\n\n\nRegistration for this program series is closed. DESCRIPTION:Kids in grades 1 – 6 are invited to join our new creative writing club! This club meets at 3 PM on the second and fourth Monday of each month. Each club meeting will include a prompt and discussion about an element of creative writing\, free writing time\, and time to share our writing with others. At the end of the club session in June we’ll produce a book of club member’s writing!  \n\n\n\nYou may register for individual programs\, or for the entire session. Kids under 9 are allowed to be at the library by themselves\, if your child is under 9\, a caregiver should remain in the Library.

SUMMARY:Creative Writing Club
DESCRIPTION:Kids in grades 1 – 6 are invited to join our new creative writing club! This club meets at 3 PM on the second and fourth Monday of each month. Each club meeting will include a prompt and discussion about an element of creative writing\, free writing time\, and time to share our writing with others. At the end of the club session in June we’ll produce a book of club member’s writing!  \n\n\n\nYou may register for individual programs\, or for the entire session. Kids under 9 are allowed to be at the library by themselves\, if your child is under 9\, a caregiver should remain in the Library.

SUMMARY:Local Exploration: Homeschool Program Series
DESCRIPTION:Join the Elizabeth Taber Library at 1:30 PM on Fridays starting January 9\, for an 11 week programming series centered on local exploration. Get to know the history\, art\, science\, and literature that surrounds us. Programs will be led by children’s librarian Miss Macy and community organizations and experts.  \n\n\n\nThis program series is designed for homeschool students who are learning about topics at an elementary level (grades K-6). Parents/caregivers and younger siblings are asked to remain in the library during the program\, but are not expected to join their student(s) in the room.  \n\n\n\nSome programs may be held off-site within walking distance of the Library. Program attendees will be informed in advance if this will be the case so they can plan accordingly. A detailed calendar of program topics will be available before the first program. \n\n\n\nRegistration for this program series is closed. If you registered for a previous session\, you are registered for the duration of the series. \n\n\n\nPrograms hosted by the Elizabeth Taber Library may provide social and educational experiences\, but are not tied to Massachusetts Curriculum Framework.
