A year-round program, join our Fiber Arts Club and get crafting this summer! Our club meets on Fridays from 10:30-12:30, and is open to the public. Bring your Fiber Arts projects, and meet with others to chat and craft! No registration required.

What are Fiber Arts? Fiber Arts encompasses many different crafting styles and materials. Most commonly, knitting, crocheting, and embroidery. Fiber arts use natural or synthetic fibers such as yarn, floss, and thread to create with!

*Fiber Arts Club is not a learn-to-craft program.

Offered Seasonally, the Spice Pantry and Seed Library are free to anyone in the library.

Seed Library (May-August): Through donations from local farms, and stores we are able to offer a wide range of vegetable, fruits, herbs, and flower seeds for free! Each family is allowed three seed packets per visit to the library. Learn to grow these seeds with materials from the library, or if you are an experienced gardener, add them to your seasonal garden beds!

Spice Pantry (September-April): browse our spice pantry to find just the right spice to brighten any meal! Our generous sponsors at Fieldstone Market, Stop and Shop, and Shaw’s, make it possible for us to provide fresh spices for your enjoyment! Either select spices you would like to try, or grab one of our pre-packed recipe/spice packets to try at home!

Available on a first come, first serve basis, the Library offers free craft kits for adults bi-monthly. These kits are free to take (and make), and often incorporate locally sourced materials, skills that can be picked up quickly, and ideas from books in our collection. Each craft is easy to learn, and fun to make!

Previous Take & Make Crafts: Make your own clay earrings, pressed flower bookmarks, Sailor Valentines, and paper wreaths.

Looking to tell your story? Join our Memoir Writing Workshop, every third Thursday of the month from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, led by Al Caron. Call the library to inquire or register. This program is free.
