Letters About Literature: Homeschool Program

November 20 @ 2:00 PM 2:45 PM

Letters about Literature is a nationwide program encouraging students to write letters to authors whose writing has impacted them. In conjunction with the Massachusetts Center for the Book, the Elizabeth Taber Library is excited to serve as a pilot site for the Letters about Literature program in public libraries. Students ages 10-14 (4th – 8th grade equivalent) are invited to join us for a seven-week writing workshop aimed at producing a letter for an author to enter in the statewide Letters about Literature Contest. Participants will develop skills in personal writing, literary analysis, peer reviewing, and editing.

Registration is required for this program and the capacity is limited. Registration can be found on the October 9 event page.
