Local Exploration: Homeschool Program Series
January 9, 2026 @ 1:30 PM
Join the Elizabeth Taber Library at 1:30 PM on Fridays starting January 9, for an 11 week programming series centered on local exploration. Get to know the history, art, science, and literature that surrounds us. Programs will be led by children’s librarian Miss Macy and community organizations and experts.
This program series is designed for homeschool students who are learning about topics at an elementary level (grades K-6). Parents/caregivers and younger siblings are asked to remain in the library during the program, but are not expected to join their student(s) in the room.
Some programs may be held off-site within walking distance of the Library. Program attendees will be informed in advance if this will be the case so they can plan accordingly. A detailed calendar of program topics will be available before the first program.
Registration is required to ensure we have adequate supplies available.
Programs hosted by the Elizabeth Taber Library may provide social and educational experiences, but are not tied to Massachusetts Curriculum Framework.
