Kids ages 3-5 (and their grownups and siblings) are invited to join us for Nursery Rhyme Time on Mondays at 11 AM. Each week in Nursery Rhyme Time we’ll focus on a different rhyme or story. We’ll find it in a book, read it out loud, bring it to life with puppets or a sensory activity, and do a craft. This 20 to 30 minute program will be held in the children’s room.

Research shows that knowledge of nursery rhymes, simple folk and fairy tales, and childhood songs are predictors of reading readiness in kindergarten.
