The Friends of the ETL consist of a group of community volunteers that host numerous book sales and special events in conjunction with the Library. Funds raised by the Friends of the ETL help to support programming and enhance the scope and outreach of the library.

The Friends of the ETL try to meet each month on the 2nd Wednesday of the month around 10:30am.*

If you'd like to be a volunteer for any event, please contact the Library and a Friend will reach out to you.

* If you are not on the Friends of the Library mailing list, please call the Library to confirm the time of Friends of the ETL monthly meetings as sometimes last minute time tweaks occur and we are unable to update the website.

Upcoming programming & events include hosting the COA (Council on Aging) Book Club, assisting with the Marion Vegetable Garden Tour coming up in August, the Holiday Book Sale held in December, a Spring Event (last year was a High Tea), and the Spring Book Sale held in May.

The next book sale will be the Summer Book Sale on Friday July 26 & Saturday July 27 from 9am-3pm at the Marion Music Hall located at 164 Front Street in Marion MA.
