Miss Macy has been the children's librarian at the Elizabeth Taber Library since September 2024. Prior to working in Marion, she was a children's librarian in Brookline, MA. Her favorite thing about working as a children's librarian is coming up with fun and innovate programs for the youth of Marion. Her goal as a librarian is to establish and celebrate a culture of reading! Her favorite books in the Library are picturebooks because they're some of the most creative and innnovative reads for children and adults both!

When not in the children's room, Miss Macy might be at the beach, working on craft projects, spending time with her two cats and her fiance', or reading of course! Macy holds a Mastes of Library and Information Science and a Masters of Children's Literature both from Simmons University. Macy grew up in a town in Kansas smaller than Marion, and she is excited to be a part of the Marion community.
